I'm an EFL teacher and translator. I have been teaching English now for almost 20 years. At the moment I teach at CCBEU - a binational center in my hometown, Franca-SP-Brazil. I'm an eager learner and really wish I had much more time to devote to reading, researching and of course sharing. I'm fascinated by the idea of using webtools to enhance my teaching. It's something new for me. I have been using the internet (Web 1.0) for quite some time but now I really want to incorporate the Web 2.0 and its endless possibilities into my teaching. I love music and I always say I'm kind of eclectic becauseI really appreciate different styles which may go from Folk, Celtic music to brazilian MPB. My favorite singer is Barbra Streisand and I often quote her when I am asked to define music. According to her "music is the connective tissue among souls" and I could not agree more. I also like going out particularly to enjoy good food. Well, I guess that's enough for an introduction. Feel free to ask questions and post your comments. Oh..I'm a Gemini for those who might find astrology interesting.
